Hair Loss Common Causes
Our hair grows in a cycle called The Hair Cycle. Each one of the hairs on the scalp are in one of the three phases of this cycle. When a hair falls off a new one will replace it. It's normal to shed up to 100 hairs per day, this is a part of the cycle.
When the hairs cycle changes and slows for any reason, hairs will fall of but it would take more time for new one to replace these hairs.
The most common cause for hair loss is called Androgenetic Alopecia. If you are losing your hair and looking for reasons, first look at your parents. Genetics has a lot to do with it.

Male Pattern Baldness - Androgenetic Alopecia for men
In the United States 7% - 15% of men are experiencing Pattern Baldness by the age of 25.
The exact cause of Male Pattern Baldness is unknown. Their are some theories today that help us lower the amount of hairs we loss and sometimes even stop it, these theories are not completely proven, although positive results help us believe they are mostly correct.
The main theory is that an ansim called Five Alpha Reductase is being produced in larger amounts, is ansim change the Testosterone (male hormone) to a hormone called DHT. DHT damages the hairs bulbs and causes Male Pattern Baldness.

Female Pattern Baldness - Androgenetic Alopecia for women
This is the most common cause for women hair loss. In the 20 million of women are experiencing this type of hair loss.
Pattern Baldness for men and women means that a hair that falls out will be replaced with a very thin one and then again until the cycle will stop and the falling hair will not be replaced by a new hair.
Other causes for hair loss and baldness:
- Chemical Damage - The use of chemicals to style, change the shape and color of the hair is very common. Chemicals that are being used for these actions usually damages hair follicles. This damage can be permanent and cause lose of hair for men and women as one.

- Bad Diet - Your diet has a lot to do with your health and your aging process. Eating unhealthy food can damage the skin over the years. Not every person that have unhealthy diet will turn out to be bald immediately but bad nutrition can affect the health of your hair and scalp.
- Bad treatment - If your hair is important to you, you should take good care of it. Bad treatments can be for example the use of a wrong shampoo and inappropriate or low quality hair care accessories, Burning the hair with the dryer or any other action or materiel that can be bad for the hairs and the scalp
- Cancer Chemotherapy Treatment - The chemotherapy treatment which cancer patients gets usually has a substantial effect on the health and hair of the patient. Patients that recover from the disease usually will experience regrowth of new hair with little or no damage cause by the chemotherapy treatment.
- Other drugs and medicines - A big number of drugs and different kinds of medicines affect the body in different ways, they can cause baldness and increase the aging process of the users. People that uses a strong medicine or a drug for long periods of time will often experience skin and hair damages.
- Long exposure to the sun - It's not a secret that a long exposure to the sun can damage our skin. But not everybody knows that the sun can also affect hairs health and cause baldness.
